The first step toward better health - choosing a chiropractor
What you can expect on your first visit:
- You will fill out a registration form and a medical history for the doctor to study.
- You will be given an office tour so that you can become acquainted with the facility and the equipment.
- You will have consultation with Dr. Lorge.
- You will receive a comprehensive examination including orthopedic, neurologic and specific spinal motion testing, along with a postural evaluation. (Muscle testing.)
- You may be x-rayed if your condition warrants it. All x-ray films are reviewed by a board certified doctor.
- You may receive other special diagnostic tests if indicated.
Your four basic questions will be answered on your second office visit:
- What is my problem...my diagnosis?
- Doctor, can you help me?
- How long will it take me to recover?
- What will it cost me? Can your insurance help?
What you can expect on your 2nd visit
Relief and progress begin!
- You will meet with the doctor and a report of the doctor's
findings will be discussed with you; during this time you will have an opportunity to
ask questions
- You will be asked to bring your spouse or significant other to this
consultation. We have found that another person's full knowledge and understanding of
the need for the treatment program will maximize your recovery potential.
- You will discuss the financial arrangements.
- You will then be scheduled for treatment and, in most cases,
treatment will begin with the completion of the report of findings.
